Warmth
Your breathing
Into my neck,
Around my ears
With rejuvenating
Warmth,
Melting the thawed
Ice that had frosted
Into aloofness,
Loneliness,
Of long
Harsh and dry
Winters,
When even birds
forgot to sing
Of the imminent
Predators
Warning their prey.
With everything frozen
Into grey.
And you
Bringing me back
To life
To affirm
In my place
In existence.
Into my neck,
Around my ears
With rejuvenating
Warmth,
Melting the thawed
Ice that had frosted
Into aloofness,
Loneliness,
Of long
Harsh and dry
Winters,
When even birds
forgot to sing
Of the imminent
Predators
Warning their prey.
With everything frozen
Into grey.
And you
Bringing me back
To life
To affirm
In my place
In existence.
